A note from your County Clerk -

These are clearly unprecedented times and I appreciate your patience as all of us determine our societal, workplace, and personal response to this world-wide pandemic.  I am aware of challenges in the workplace to minimize risk and one of the following ways is to record documents through eRecording.

In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Wheeler County (among other Oregon Counties) may have limited public access to its offices at some point in the future. If you have real property related documents that need to be recorded, you may consider e-Recording as an option. eRecording provides the ability to record documents with the Wheeler County Clerk via one of four approved eRecording service providers. Utilizing an account with one of these service providers, customers can simply scan the original document and attach the electronic image and appropriate fees. The electronical instrument is transmitted by a secure connection to the County Clerk’s office for processing. Documents are typically recorded the same business day if all required elements are present in the instrument.

Below are contact information to our eRecording Business Partners.  I encourage each business unit through the State of Oregon to consider the importance of this vital service offered through one of the eRecording partners.  Their services will provide continuity of operations while protecting employees and our constituents.

Contact any of Wheeler County’s approved eRecording partners to learn more and get started with this process:
