The Wheeler County Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, at 5:00 PM to consider:


CUP-22-002, Conditional Use Application for the establishment of a private campground. The application was submitted by landowner of record Dickse Fitzgerald and applies to the 10 acre +/- parcel associated with situs address 39499 N Twickenham Rd, Mitchell, OR 97750. Applicable criteria are set forth in Wheeler County Zoning Ordinance (WCZO) 5.8 (20) and reviewed subject to WCZO 3.1 (6)(j);


TUP-22-001, Temporary Use application submitted by landowner of record Jacob Crawford for an event to occur on the 15 acre +/- parcel associated with situs address 34203 Burnt Ranch Rd., Mitchell, OR 97750. Applicable criteria may be found in WCZO 5.8 (16).


Staff reports and all application materials will be available at the Wheeler County Planning Department 7 days prior to the hearing. The meeting will be held in the Jeanne E. Burch Building Floor located at 401 Fourth St., Fossil, OR 97830.
